iPhone & iPad

Your servers, from your pocket.

A real SSH terminal on iPhone and iPad, backed by the same end-to-end encrypted host list you use on the desktop. Built for the on-call check, not for a day of development.

Get started in 3 steps

1

Install from the App Store

Tap the button above. The app is free and works on iPhone and iPad.

2

Sign in and unlock

Sign in with the same account you use on desktop, then enter your master password once to unlock the vault on this device.

3

Your hosts are already there

Hosts, groups and snippets sync down automatically. Nothing to re-enter, and your credentials are decrypted only on the device.

Built for iPhone & iPad

The same encrypted vault, not a second one

Your master password derives the key on the phone itself, exactly as it does on desktop. The server hands over ciphertext it cannot read, and the wrapped key lives in the iOS Keychain.

A real terminal, not a command box

Sessions run through a full terminal emulator with proper escape-sequence handling, so vim, htop and tmux behave the way they do on the desktop.

Deliberately a companion app

This is built for the on-call check, the quick restart, the log you need to read from a train. Complex work belongs on the desktop and we would rather say so than pretend a phone keyboard is a good terminal.

Push notifications for what matters

Share invites and command-log activity arrive as push notifications, so a host someone shared with you does not sit unnoticed until the next time you open a laptop.

SSH on iPhone & iPad: common questions

Is there a free SSH client for iPhone?

Yes. Termique for iOS is free on the App Store, and the free tier covers unlimited hosts and sessions. Pro is the same $5/mo subscription as the desktop and applies to every device on your account.

Do my desktop hosts sync to the iPhone app?

Yes. Sign in with the same account and your hosts, groups and snippets appear. Credentials sync as ciphertext and are decrypted on the device with your master password.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes, the same app runs on iPad, and an iPad with a keyboard case is a much more comfortable terminal than a phone.

Can I use it without the desktop app?

Yes, you can add hosts directly on the phone. Most people use it the other way around - desktop as the main workspace, phone for the on-call check.

Does the iOS app support SFTP?

Not yet. SFTP is a desktop feature today. The mobile apps cover SSH sessions, host and snippet management, and command logs.
