Is there a free tier?
Yes. The free tier covers the core workflow: SSH sessions, host management, SSH keys, snippets, SFTP, port forwarding, server monitoring, and E2EE cloud sync. Pro removes limits and adds host sharing, command audit logs, and more AI prompts per day. Host sharing is Pro only.
What exactly does Pro add?
Unlimited hosts and snippets, host sharing with up to 5 teammates, per-session command audit logs, AI memory, a full year of metrics history, background alert notifications, and 100 hosted AI prompts per day instead of 15.
How many people can I share hosts with?
Pro includes 5 teammates. A teammate is a person, not a host: sharing 40 hosts with one person uses one of the 5, and sharing one host with 40 people uses 40. Extra teammates are $3.99 per month each, added from your dashboard. Revoking someone frees their slot again.
How are credentials stored?
Encrypted with AES-GCM before they leave the app. The key is derived from your master password via PBKDF2 locally - it never leaves your device. The server only ever sees ciphertext, on every plan.
What platforms does termique run on?
macOS, Windows, and Linux, with iOS and Android companion apps. It's a native desktop app built with Tauri - not Electron. One subscription covers all your devices.
What happens to my data if termique shuts down?
Your hosts, groups, and snippets are stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Export is available from Settings at any time. The master password and credentials are yours - no lock-in.
Do you offer free Pro for open-source developers?
